Welcome to Niko Music

This is the home for the songs on my Niko Music YouTube channel. Most of them are metal songs I wrote between 2000 and 2005 in Guitar Pro. They stayed as MIDI files for twenty years until Suno made it possible to hear them with real arrangements and audio. The notes are mine. The production is Suno's.

Here I will write about each song: where it came from, what I remember about writing it, and what I think of it now. The first story will be how I started composing at all, which involves a friend's song, a loop of chords, and a lot of failed attempts before that.

The songs so far

• Original Composition, the song I posted first, with the arrangement and video also made with today's tools
• Lord of the Metal, cut to The Two Towers
• Iron Man, cut to Iron Man (2008)
• Iron & Dust, cut to Django Unchained
• Dark Synth, cut to TRON: Legacy
• Cool Girl (Heavy), written in 2022, cut to Kill Bill
• Weird Romance, written in 2023, cut to The Crow (1994)
• Dawn on the Moskva River, a heavy metal cover of Mussorgsky, the one piece here that is not mine

If you want to see the original Guitar Pro or MIDI file of any song, with its old timestamp, ask in the comments and I will show it.
